I am in the process of sorting through various materials, videos and publications, to upload onto this site, Mary Queen of Peace. And as I do this, I am uncovering many interesting tidbits of information, especially about the Marian apparitions at Garabandal.

One of these tidbits can be found in the testimony of Dr. Ricardo Puncernau, a well-respected neuropsychiatrist in Spain, who investigated the Garabandal phenomenon.

What tidbit did I uncover? I found out that The Warning is preceded by an “event” in the Catholic Church.

Here is the tidbit part of his testimony, so you read what the “event” is:

En una de las excursiones a la braña, me quedé a comer invitado por Serafín, el hermano mayor de Conchita. Mi hijo Augusto, invitado a tomar leche, tal como salía de la vaca, no la pudo digerir o quizá le diera asco, la cuestión es que la vomitó. Se encontró mal y bajó al pueblo donde aquella vez, estaba mi mujer, Julia.

On one of the excursions to the field, I stayed to eat because Serafín, Conchita’s older brother, invited me.  My son Augusto was invited to drink milk as it left the cow, but he couldn’t digest it, or maybe it made him nauseated, and he vomited.  He became sick and he went down to the village where my wife Julia was that time.

Me quedé pues, sólo con Serafín y comimos en la cabaña de las vacas. Después de comer intenté tirarle de la lengua, pues se decía que sabía por Conchita cuando sería el Aviso. Saqué la conclusión de que si lo sabía, no lo quería decir.

I stayed alone with Serafín and we ate in the stable with the cows.  After we ate, I tried to get him to talk, because it was a believed that he knew from Conchita when ‘the Warning’ would happen.  I came to the conclusion that he did know, but did not want to say.

Lo único que saqué en claro fue, que iría precedido de un especial acontecimiento en la Iglesia, que después de muchas preguntas y deducciones me pareció sacar en claro, por lo que él me dijo un tanto oscuramente, que sería algo parecido a un Cisma. O yo lo entendí así.

The only thing I understood clearly was that the Warning would be preceded by a special event in the Church.  After many questions and deductions, it seemed clear where it had been uncertain before, that it would be some kind of Schism; at least this is how I understood it.
